Testing out this after seeing Ery use it. Not sure if I'll use it at all, but I think having a place to leave my longer thoughts without explicitly trying to share them with everyone (or at least having the option to share is nice).
Nuance is often a thing that is lost when trying to put everything into bite-sized pieces, and when discussing anything in-depth, historically or literary-wise, nuance is the thing you don't want to lose.
This will probably be a record of notes and small little reviews of things. Maybe a way to keep track of progress for more OC stories. Something like a diary that I'm okay with folks reading.
Was never on the internet during the "quieter" phases, so there's something quite nice about having somewhere to put thoughts for someone to discover. Tumblr is pretty close to this, but I don't like how something can get so far out of your reach. If I decide to delete something, I'd like it to be gone "forever" (as realistically as "forever" can be on the internet).
Would be nice to tag some items "officially" here (so it's easier to find). I'll probably put tags at the bottom. Testing out some features below.
Block quote for testing
Shift + Enter allows you to add paragraphs to a block quote. Enter takes you out of it. However, after publishing it, it seems the block quote doesn't work.
Add some text before and after to see it works. Edit: it did not. Alas.
Tangent A
This is nice feature when I have a billion tangents to go on (if you watch my streams, you know how my brain works).
Basically works like a second page. I wish you could change the look of it so it's not as obtrusive. (Maybe there is a way and I haven't figured it out...)
The real question is how do you close this?
I saw ery do this at the end of hers and I thought it was cute.
